Homeschooling might grow into boring and dry without any effort to improve. Improvement in homeschooling doesn't have to wait the new year or the new academic year. You can do it any time. You will find that you will be more motivated when you improve your homeschooling in some ways. Here are the 7 ways to improve your homeschooling.
The mid or end of an academic year is usually a time for people to reevaluate the curriculum used. You should have got enough time to try the curriculum and decide whether you will go on with it or not. It is the tme for you to change the curriculum if it is really needed. Just ignore the planning that you might have done for the year if you want to change in the middle. There are also some reasons to change the curriculum to suit you and your children better.
There are several homeschooling methods commonly applied by homeschoolers. One method you have used might not suitable for you and your children. Although the method is theoritically perfect, there isn't any perfect method unless it works well for you and your children. What works for others might not work for you. That is very normal.
For example, you might feel that the classical method is too strict for you and you decide to use Charlotte Mason. On the other hand, you might feel that the unschooling method is too loose, you might change into eclectic.
Changing from one method to another one will also experience some transition periode. You might not be able to change drastically at once as it will make some pressures or stress for you.
Many homeschooling family who have religious activities, has a mission to get closer with God. We are one of the Catholic families. Everyone is baptized. - Deeper and more habitual praying
- Church or cathecism knowledge
- The Saints biography story
- Quiet Reflection time
- Regular Rosary
Doing all of those things is considered too perfect for us. However, those are some ideas that I think we should do step by step to improve the religious life.
