It is incredibly hot here in Surabaya. We don't have summer as you know, but June and July are usually the peak of the hot season we have. The weather is very humid. The school year is going to finish in a week for us and for many public schools here. It is great that kids have finished their lessons for the school year already.
Our mood has shifted already. Honestly, I am still reluctant to declutter the old year stuff. It would be great if I could skip the work and just start a new school year. It is a tiring work for me. However, it is impossible to let the old school year stuff mess around.
On the other hand, I am very excited to start the new school year. The planning mood is alarming at the moment. When homeschooling moms are busy with closing the school year and preparing for the new school year, it would be great when kids have some activities they can do independently in the incredibly hot weather. At the same time, we have not planned any vacation yet in the close time.
