Does Homeschool Guarantee Success?

Well, the answer is briefly NO, it doesn’t. There is a lot of problems in a homeschool that might explode in the children’s future if they are not taken care of properly.

One thing that I believe from our vision, mission, and experience in our homeschool that homeschool will prepare a good emotional, academic, and intellectual start. Homeschool also gives a wonderful childhood memory with all of the aspects alongside. We have fun, sad, chaos, and fights in our journey to homeschool children.

However, everything that happened in the past will not give guarantee in the future. Good things can’t always be predictions for the future.

Hard Work

There isn’t any connection between being successful and homeschool. People can be successful in many different ways and processes. The explanation is logically clear. There are many success people who attend public schools. Thus, homeschool is not the only way to be successful.

However, in terms of benefits, children will likely have more chances to explore and to learn flexibly according to their interests and talents. Homeschooling family usually has a stronger commitment to work harder to pursue success in a certain field of interest.

Whatever educational background, how the extent of skills and knowledge they have, how much time they have, the most important thing, in the end, is hard work.

Being Balance

Homeschool is only a way of learning being surrounded by the family environment. Living with parents will add more character education to children’s academic education.

However, with character education, it is not a guarantee that there isn’t any suicide, drug addiction, failed relationships, personal and financial crises, accidents, pain, and missing opportunities. The most important of all is how people manage their emotions, spirit, and intelligence. Keep those factors in balance will be very important for the growth of personality.

Life is always a mess, but as long as you can balance everything, it is more likely that you can control what happens in life.

Positive Attitudes

There are so many things we can put in this area. Here are several of them:

Positive Thinking

Being optimistic is very crucial to the success of a person. When someone has hopes on something good happen, the person will try hard to pursue the will with less stress

Self Improvement

The ability to do a self correction that leads to the self improvement will give a huge contribution to being successful. The internal motivaton is much stronger than the external ones.

Self Discipline

Time management definitely very important to success. The time is very limited. With a good time management, you can accomplish more things that lead you to success in less stress.

Consistency

Consistency is the brother of all of the things. Putting positive efforts in both quantity and quality in the same way all of the time is a booster of being successful.

Those are some positive attitudes that can lead people to be successful. There are persistence, team player, open minded, etc.

Good Luck

Well, people cannot depend on luck for being successful. Even modern people will laugh when we mention luck as one aspect to be successful. However, it plays a very crucial part in people’s lives on the last point. After you work on so many aspects to be successful, Luck will determine the last result.

The aspects of being successful look very serious to prepare in homeschool. It is not only for homeschool but for other kinds of school, like public school as well. Thus, don’t think too much about them. Just let your homeschool flows day by day.

Homeschool doesn’t give any guarantee to be successful like what other “school” does as well. Enjoy your life and learning. I believe that everything will come up in the right time and place. Everyone in homeschool will learn about life and get mature within the time being.
