Once again, this post is still one of the 10 most popular posts in my blog after last year. Honestly, I read and reread this post every time so that I will not make the same mistakes in our homeschooling. I don’t want other people get to the same mistakes that I have made. However, if you have made the same mistakes like I did, don’t worry because you are not alone. You still have chances to improve yourself. It will never be too late to change. Even, it is better too late than never. Try to enjoy your time with kids better and better as the time will not return to you in the future. If you want to have some chat with me, I will be very happy to accompany you in some social media chat.
This is the first year for me to have all of my 3 sons homeschooled in full time. Here is a list of curriculum that we use for our 3rd, 7th, and 8th graders. Well, we are not English native speakers nor we live in the English speaking countries. We are combining the national curriculum of Indonesian, the Christian curriculum, the secular curriculum. They are in either English or Indonesian. You need to visit this post to get some inspiration out of what we have done.
I remember that I wrote this post to give my response toward too many people that asked why I homeschool my children. In this post, I make 10 points to compare between those types of schooling from my points of view or from my opinion. I will never say that homeschooling is better for children than the public schooling. Everyone has its own condition and standards. Here are mine, and what are yours? Visit and comment to this post. I give respect with all my heart to any parent who choose either homeschooling or public schooling. However, I will be happy if you give respect to our decision.
