This couple weekends, we have been very busy with series of full activities. Last 21-24 June 2013, kids participated in 3 days Bible For Kids events in our parish. This year theme was Mother Mary Our Patroon. It was an annual agenda for our kids. They always wait for this moment every summer holiday. They know that they will sing new songs, get new friends, get new equipment (Special T Shirts, backpack, books, and rosary). Here is the song:
The first day was in church meeting hall for eight hours. There were opening session, and a couple of discussion sessions. At the end of the day, kids made a heart sandwich given to parents. They were vey proud of it. They were very proud giving the sandwiches and roses to us.
The second day was outbound sessions outside church complex. Tom won the competition and he was very proud of it. It wasn't useless that he was dropped in the pond in one of the sessions.
The last day was the time for them to perform and said good bye to their new friends and tutor.
Although this is the first year for our youngest son, Jim, to participate in the event, he feels like a star in the event. He sang nicely in the closing ceremony. He looked very confident. It was very different with when he participated in school event. I was surprised to watch him singing in the front row. He was the youngest of all singing performance participants.
